I Almost Drowned

For the past 5 days my family and our friends have been at the beach. It has been so fun boogie boarding, swimming, playing, watching turtle lay eggs, and just hanging out, but there was one incident that will always warn me to be careful. Me and my friend Hudson went into the ocean together, and a huge wave came so we dove under it. As soon as we came up we were really far from shore and couldn't touch. Hudson and I started paddling with all our strength but weren't making any progress, all that we were doing was keeping our selves from going out further. Hudson realized this first and started screaming "HELP, HELP!!" and I joined in and helped we were both screaming but our parent didn't hear us. Lucky for us some nicaraguan surfers were sitting on their porch and saw
us.  As soon as our parents saw the surfers swim out they looked to see what was wrong and ran out into the water. The surfers pulled us in and brought us to our parents. Hudson and I were safe, but exhausted. Even though we had that incident our vacation was great, and TONS of fun. Here are some pictures.

Happy New Year!!

2015 is finally here! Yesterday was an awesome New Years Eve with my neighbourhood. At around 3:00 we started our party with a talent show! The talent show went really well, and their were many acts from people in the neighbourhood. I was the MC along with my friend Alyssa. Sometimes during the talent show, Alyssa and I, called up random people from the audience to do random things!
After the talent show we ran around and played games in the dark with glowsticks, and then did fireworks (I got to light a few of my own big ones!!!!). After the fireworks, the adults went down to my house while the kids watched 2 movies on a projector!! Then we did more fireworks and had sparkling apple cider as we yelled, "HAPPY NEW YEAR!!" and all ran and jumped in the pool in our clothes!! I love my neighbourhood!!!!!

A New Life

A year and a half ago, my family and I moved to Nicaragua (in case you don't know, Nicaragua is located beneath Mexico). It was really hard at first, because all our friends and family lived in Canada, but eventually we got used to it.
